Llyn Foulkes: Time’s Witness at The Pit surveys over 75 years of work by the Los Angeles-based artist, from 1949 to 2025. Known for his raw approach and refusal to conform, Foulkes moves across painting, assemblage, sculpture, and drawing to interrogate American culture, memory, and identity. With over 40 works, including five new pieces, the exhibition reveals a lifelong commitment to emotional honesty and a deep, sometimes biting reflection on society and self.
