Golnar Adili: To Measure the Emotions of Others is a site-specific installation which brings together sculpture and reproduced texts to examine language, memory, and loss. Drawing from letters written by the artist’s parents during and after the Iranian Revolution, the works fragment and repeat linguistic and bodily forms. Through letters, cast limbs, and rubble-like materials, the installation considers grief, political trauma, and the tension between individual experience and collective history.
