Tomboy presents loom paintings by Jen P. Harris in their first exhibition with the gallery. Harris integrates painting and weaving by stretching yarn across painted canvases and needle weaving directly into the surface. The works destabilize distinctions between media, using material process to address ambiguity, transformation, and nonlinear identity through tactile, layered compositions.
