Touch Frequencies is an exhibition featuring Asian American abstract painters Cheng and Patel. Using pattern, repetition, and ornamentation, the works depart from figure-centered Western traditions and draw from Eastern and Middle Eastern visual languages. Cheng explores unseen structures of consciousness through science and philosophy, while Patel draws on ecology, memory, and material experience to reflect on belonging, nature, and cultural continuity.
