Ceres Gallery presents Traces and Testimonies, a juried exhibition of works created by members of the Textile Study Group of New York (TSGNY). The theme of the exhibition, Traces and Testimonies, invites artistic exploration of memory and identity, resilience and cultural narratives through textiles and form, intertwined with landscape and anthropological reflections on place and belonging. The exhibition highlights the diversity of the members as well as the style and techniques. TSGNY is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and promote a wider appreciation of fiber art among the larger art community and the public in general. It aims to inspire and support artists who share a mutual commitment to fiber as a medium for artistic expression. The works have been juried by Marjorie Frankel Nathanson, the Executive Director Emerita of Hunterdon Art Museum, Clinton, New Jersey.
