Ashwini Bhat’s *Trail Notes* explores place, identity, ecology, and transformation through her relationship with Northern California. After relocating from Southern India during the 2017 Tubbs Fire, Bhat found inspiration in the resilience of the landscape, particularly its redwoods. Combining earlier and newly created works, the exhibition reflects on migration, catastrophe, ritual, and the ways a landscape can become home.
