Transmissions: Selections from the Marciano Collection gathers fifty-six international artists whose works signal, reflect, and question how we perceive, communicate, and receive. From Mark Leckey’s nod to early TV broadcasts to Glenn Ligon’s coal-dust text piece, and Deana Lawson’s mirrored portraits, the exhibition probes vision, language, and presence. Using unconventional media and gesture, each artist sends out a visual call—inviting us to see, listen, and respond.
