Henrik Godsk's first solo exhibition, Traveller’s Cathedral, at Ruttkowski;68 in New York, reflects his upbringing in a travelling carnival family. Drawing inspiration from the "Lykkehjulet" attraction, the exhibition depicts an empty, serene carnival square, with geometric shapes, vibrant colors, and fantastical motifs. Key figures include references to Godsk’s family, such as his grandmother and father. At the center, a geometric Wheel of Fortune serves as a focal point, symbolizing a private, sacred space for the travelling family.
