True Foe is the first solo exhibition at Half Gallery by Matt Gliva. Positioned between sculpture and performance, the installation reflects on endurance, self-portraiture, and the human condition. Works include metal paintings struck four hundred times with a resin cast of the artist’s fist, latex-coated towel sculptures resembling spectral figures, and a playable chess set demanding physical humility.
