Two Time, a solo exhibition by Soren Hope at New York Life Gallery, presents seven paintings and five aquatints where bodies and gestures collapse into unstable substitutions. Arms, faces, and mirrored parts trade places, only to reveal the limits of exchange. Through thick brushwork, pooled paint, and recursive prints, Hope stages the fragile tension between figuration and abstraction, where every ruse both convinces and unravels.
