Underground — When You Gently Forget Me presents sculpture, performance, and installation by Sining Zhu. Emerging from the compressed rhythms of daily life and ongoing uncertainty, Zhu constructs environments where structure and function persist, yet gradually lose their capacity to hold or resolve. Rather than staging collapse as an event, Zhu traces a slower condition: quiet erosion, sustained misalignment, and instability that remains small, repetitive, and continuously inhabited.
