Jenny Jisun Kim: Verses on Oxherding uses Hangul consonants and Zen Buddhist imagery to probe translation, language, and painting. Across fourteen works, circles and angular forms reference both Korean script and the Oxherding path to enlightenment. A translator as well as painter, Kim embraces the gaps between intention and realization, turning silence and imperfection into visual language that questions meaning, voice, and spiritual development.
