KALINER presents Walking Blindly into Shadows by MaryKate Maher, featuring new collages and sculptures that explore mapping intangible spaces. Inspired by Inuit sculptural maps, Maher creates abstract works using UV prints and cut aluminum, layering gradients and edges to suggest landscapes and bodies. The exhibition evokes the paradox of shadows—both present and elusive—reflecting Maher’s interest in nomadic lives and the process of navigating invisible, ever-changing terrains through intuition and touch.
