The Locker Room is thrilled to announce the upcoming solo photography exhibition “Weed Nuns” by Daniel Malikyar which features intimate portraits of Merced County’s Sisters of The Valley. Malikyar is an Afghan-American photographer and filmmaker who at thirty years old has already built an extraordinary body of work spanning fine art photography, documentary filmmaking, and commercial campaigns. He approaches each subject with fundamental respect, finding the extraordinary in the seemingly ordinary. His camera captures communities that challenge assumptions and exist outside mainstream narratives.
