Suzanne Jackson: What Is Love is a retrospective presenting more than six decades of Suzanne Jackson’s work. The exhibition brings together over 80 paintings and drawings tracing her evolving approaches to color, light, structure, and material. Organized chronologically, it spans early layered compositions informed by dreams to later three-dimensional paintings and a concluding installation reflecting environmental and migratory concerns. The presentation also contextualizes Jackson’s broader creative activity through archival materials related to her exhibition spaces and stage and costume design.
