Whitney Biennial 2026 presents work by 56 artists, duos, and collectives, examining contemporary conditions through forms of relationality including kinship, technology, mythology, and infrastructure. Rather than a singular narrative, the exhibition emphasizes atmosphere and affect, bringing together works that evoke tension, intimacy, humor, and unease to reflect the complexity of the present moment.
