Who’s Laughing Now? presents new works by New York–based artist and activist Michela Griffo. Through diptychs combining oil paintings of Disney characters with graphite drawings of human experience and comic text, Griffo critiques cultural myths and social inequities tied to gender, sexuality, and power. Her works merge humor with protest, exposing enduring cultural contradictions.
