Lucy Tarquinio: Winter Painting celebrates Tarquinio's season long residency at Entrance / Red Hook, where the artist began a durational practice in mark making, working thoroughly and independently on a large scale outdoor painting. Beginning on the Winter Solstice and concluding soon on the Spring Equinox, Tarquinio has worked almost daily, blizzard, rain or sunshine notwithstanding to create ‘Winter Painting’.
