Spanning six decades, this exhibition honors John Wilson (1922–2015), whose art confronted racial violence, labor struggles, and the Civil Rights Movement while celebrating Black life, family, and dignity. Featuring over 100 works—many never before seen—it traces his journey from Boston to Paris, Mexico, and New York, culminating in his iconic portraits and monuments affirming universal humanity.
