Women’s Work: Beyond Craft and Convention examines the artistic contributions of women whose practices challenge distinctions between fine art, craft, and tradition. Bringing together works by Mary Cassatt, Elizabeth Catlett, Joan Snyder, Angela Fraleigh, Julie Heffernan, Elizabeth Turk, and others, the exhibition considers how material, form, and subject have been used to expand the scope of women’s artistic production.
