Yutaka Nozawa presents diptychs pairing small photos with equally sized paintings of blank canvases staged in real locations. He paints the scene, then re-photographs the finished work in situ, creating a loop from photo to painting and back. Subtle shifts of light and color heighten this perceptual play.
