Dream Scape: Site-Specific Practice at di Rosa
A contemporary art center on a 217-acre former winery estate in the Carneros region at 5200 Sonoma Highway, Napa, built on the collection of Rene di Rosa (1919-2010) and opened to the public in 1997. Its roughly 1,600-work collection is a definitive holding of postwar Northern California art, including Robert Arneson, Joan Brown, William T. Wiley, and Viola Frey, shown in galleries, a sculpture meadow, and a lakeside residence. As of 2026 it remains open, though the property was listed for sale in January 2026 amid financial challenges.
