Minnesota Street Project, founded in 2016 by philanthropists Deborah and Andy Rappaport, anchors San Francisco's Dogpatch art scene with a Jensen Architects-designed complex at 1275 Minnesota Street offering galleries subsidized rents, plus artist studios at 1240 Minnesota and art storage services. Created in response to gallery displacement downtown, it houses around a dozen galleries beneath one atrium roof and launched a nonprofit foundation in 2019. Despite some tenant gallery closures in 2025, it remains open in 2026.
