Established in 1979, Robert Koch Gallery is a fine art photography gallery whose program spans the 19th century to the present, with particular depth in Modernist and experimental European photography of the 1920s-30s, contemporary work, and rare early masterworks. A longtime AIPAD member, it has helped shape scholarship on the history of the medium while exhibiting established masters and new artists. The gallery occupies the fifth floor of 49 Geary Street, San Francisco's Union Square gallery building, where it remains as of 2026.
