Stephen Truax is an artist, curator, and advisor whose work has been exhibited at the FLAG Art Foundation, the Tang Teaching Museum at Skidmore College, the Long Island Museum, and other venues. He has organized exhibitions including Toward the Light: Artists for the Ali Forney Center at David Zwirner, Any Distance Between Us at the RISD Museum, and Intimacy at Yossi Milo Gallery. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Artforum, and Fire Island Art: 100 Years, and is held in the collections of 21c Museum Hotel and the Tang Teaching Museum. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Truax founded his advisory in 2022 and has since raised more than $1.7 million for LGBTQ+ nonprofits, including the Ali Forney Center.
