TJ Shin is a Korean-born, New York-based artist working across sculpture, installation, performance, and writing.TJ Shin is a Korean-born, New York-based artist working across sculpture, installation, performance, and writing. Their practice draws on plant biology, queer theory, and diasporic histories to examine how bodies, ecologies, and systems of power entangle. Often incorporating living materials, fermentation, and scent, Shin's work proposes kinship as a method for survival across difference.
