Delta is a solo exhibition by TJ Shin comprising a multi-channel video installation, drawings, and a commissioned text by Sunny Xiang. The installation stages a modified Prisoner's Dilemma, a concept in game theory developed by the RAND Corporation in 1950. Shin recruited sixteen Asian American Pacific Islander participants to play games drawn from prompts relating to finance, legality, and politics. Across three gallery rooms, footage is continuously reconfigured, decoupling participants from their original contexts—foregrounding how social and racial meaning is assigned and contested.
