Matilda Forsberg’s recent paintings carry the immediacy of plein air work, though each was created in the studio during her residency at Dot Ateliers in Accra, Ghana. Founded by Amoako Boafo, the artist-led residency positions Accra as both backdrop and collaborator—shaping the inquiry and work of each resident.
Forsberg will speak about her experience at an artist talk on Saturday, March 21 at 2 pm; refreshments will be served, and seating is limited.
