CHART presents Army of Love, Patricia Cronin’s first New York solo exhibition in nearly a decade. Inspired by Aphrodite and the 1969 discovery of her lost temple at Knidos, Cronin reimagines the goddess through a feminist lens. Featuring paintings, sculptures, and watercolors, the installation draws on art history and ancient myth to propose a vision of heroism rooted in love and care. Her ethereal figures and materials evoke timeless strength while challenging traditional narratives of power.
