Baldanders at Blade Study features Andrew Woolbright transforming interviews into sculptural performances. Using prosthetics, video, and live dialogue, he morphs participants into theorists debating painting and sculpture’s ties to power. Woolbright also creates LARP portraits of visitors as figures like Blake, Picabia, and Margera, merging their likenesses with fantastical, mechanical, or chaotic imagery to explore identity’s fluid, performative nature.
