Jools Rothblatt (b. 1991, Los Angeles) present works move with an unruly precision, as figures and gestures slip between intimacy and exaggeration, held just at the edge of coherence. Their surfaces feel both casual and exacting, allowing humor and unease to quietly cohabitate. What emerges is less an image than a mood: volatile, tender, and slightly out of control.
