This exhibition traces the journey of a drawing by German Symbolist artist Otto Greiner from its acquisition by the Kupferstich-Kabinett in Dresden to its reappearance at the Getty Research Institute. Focusing on wartime displacement and provenance research, the presentation examines how artworks are tracked after loss and outlines the process leading to the drawing’s return to Dresden.
