The Getty is one of the world's preeminent art institutions, situated atop a hill in Brentwood with panoramic views of Los Angeles. The Getty Center houses an encyclopedic collection of European paintings, drawings, sculpture, illuminated manuscripts, and photography, and is renowned equally for its Richard Meier–designed architecture and its stunning gardens. Admission is free.
