Mavis Pusey’s "Mobile Images" at the Hammer is the first major museum survey of the Jamaican-born abstractionist, with more than 60 works from her 50-year career. Hard-edge paintings, lithographs, and screenprints draw on fashion and city architecture, while her "Broken Construction" series uses destruction and renewal as metaphors for change.
