[siccer] is an interdisciplinary project by Will Rawls combining dance, animation, sound, and photography. Through stop-motion video and immersive installation, Rawls explores how media constructs and distorts the Black body. Projected on suspended green screens, fragmented movements challenge fixed identity and capture. Inspired by “[sic],” the work questions correction, embraces transformation, and resists imposed narratives.
