Plato Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in New York City’s Lower East Side. Founded by Elena Platonova, the gallery aims to cultivate intercultural dialogue by focusing on artists with diverse cultural, ethnic, and national backgrounds. These artists maintain continuity with the traditions of art history while creating new ones, particularly welcoming mixed types, misfits, multihyphenates, immigrants, hybrids, and those who can see the world through the eyes of others.
